Privacy Policy
This website (the “Site”) is operated by Distinctive LLC, doing business as “Just Do Ecom” (“Just Do Ecom”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or book a call with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Scope
This policy applies only to information collected through this Site and the call-booking process on it. It does not cover any separate agreement you may later enter into for our services, or third-party websites we link to.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book a call through our scheduling tool, you provide:
- Your name and email address;
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
- Your answers to the booking questions — for example, the marketplaces you sell on, an approximate revenue range, a link to your website or product listing, and anything you want to cover on the call;
- Any other information you include in messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our providers automatically collect:
- Device and browser information, general location inferred from IP address, and your IP address;
- Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the website or ad that referred you;
- Information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see “Advertising and analytics” below).
3. How we use information
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule, and hold the call you requested;
- To respond to your questions and to follow up with you about our services;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- To measure and improve our advertising, including on Meta (Facebook and Instagram);
- To protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security issues, and to comply with legal obligations.
Marketing emails
If you book a call or contact us, we may send you emails about our services. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by emailing us at the address below. We will still send you transactional messages related to a call you have booked.
4. Advertising and analytics
We use the Meta Pixel and similar tools from Meta Platforms, Inc. to understand how visitors reach the Site, to measure the results of our ads, and to show ads to people who have visited the Site. Meta may combine this information with data it already holds. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook ad settings and Instagram settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative.
We also use a website analytics service to produce aggregate statistics about Site usage. Depending on the tool in use, this may set cookies or collect usage data; where Google Analytics is used you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our business — for example our scheduling provider (Calendly), our website host, our email and customer-management tools, and our advertising and analytics providers (including Meta and our analytics provider) — who may process the information only to provide services to us;
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case the information would transfer subject to this policy.
6. Data retention
We keep booking and contact information for as long as needed to communicate with you and pursue a possible working relationship, and afterward as needed for our records, to enforce our agreements, and to comply with law. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the settings and policies of the providers involved.
7. Your choices and rights
You can decline to provide information, though some of it is needed to book a call. You can opt out of marketing emails as described above, and manage cookies through your browser.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion or correction of that information, and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, email us at the address below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
8. Do Not Track
The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common standard for them.
9. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites and services (such as our scheduling page). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies separately.
10. Children
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Visitors outside the United States
We operate the Site in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site you consent to that processing.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site.
